China’s Xiaomi is known in Europe and America as Apple counterfeit manufacturer ‘while it’s the biggest tech giant in homeland China’

The brand released a smartphone which are particularly looks like the iPhone except the price tag. Yesterday, the brand announced that it wants to compete with the Apple laptops and especially the MacBook Air. The first laptop called Xiaomi whatsoever-not surprisingly-the ‘Mi Air notebook’.

Mi Notebook Air comes in 12.5-inch and 13.3-inch models with a slimline body, 1080p display, a 1-megapixel front camera, a USB Type-C charging port and a minimalist metal designs in gold or silver. Remarkably, there is no logo on the back of the monitor, ideal for lovers of minimalism. The laptop itself is only 14.8 millimeters thick and weighs a tiny 1.28 kilograms.

The best is under the hood: think of an Intel Core i5-6200U “Skylake-U” processor (dual-core, 2.3GHz with a turbo to 2.7GHz), an NVIDIA GeForce 940MX GPU with 1GB GDDR5 or RAM, 8GB DDR4 RAM memory, a 256GB SSD via PCIe and one free SATA slot for any extensions. The 40Wh battery lasts 9.5 hours. The best of this thing? The price: $750 USD and you are the owner of a beautiful piece of Chinese craftsmanship.
