Before the Flood, the climate documentary by Leonardo DiCaprio and director Fisher Stevens premiered on National Geographic.
Leonardo DiCaprio has long been involved in environmental activism and during the filming of ‘The Revenant’ he was confronted with his own eyes by the effects of global warming.
The production of the movie for which he finally won an Oscar, needed constantly to be moved because there are less snowy landscapes available because of global warming.
He mentioned the problem even in his Oscar speech.
Now, DiCaprio has this documentary boxed together to address the devastating effects of climate change. He speaks with activists, scientists and world leaders in his quest for an answer to the question: can we act before it is too late?
